Impermanence

the trees
standing tall,
silent,
alone,
in the dark midnight,
Know,this time will pass away,
and the sun will embrace them,
after few hours!
today's pain
looking solid,
actually is in a constant flux,
when seasons change,
emotions transmute,
society transforms,
the epicenter of sufferings,
still,
revolves around,
the propensity to cling on..
to hold on to everything,
a profusion of attachment!
seeing death all around,
disbelieving people,
don't accept
they will die themselves
for they see,
the transient nature,
of what they hold on to,now
for fear of future,
the end..
if hopes drive life,
and faith drives hopes,
letting go,
realizing everything,
simply flashes in and out,
of existence,
means a lot..
towards a summit of peace!

Yes, letting go makes life a lot easier but for now for most of us the propensity to cling on is more. Hope we prevail. Thank you

    • Thank you Judith , the propensity to cling on ..may be the way we are accustomed to that blocks the way to transcend ahead , knowing the impermanence way of things , may ‘ letting go’ give us thrength to feel the lightness or little happiness all around ! Great times !

It is a powerful place to be, where you recognize the impermanence of everything that we come to depend on …great poem!

  3. Thank very much , very true , the powerful realization paves the way to ‘ letting go’ for a coveted equanimity & peace. Blessings.

Nothing is permanent, not even existence… But while we live, it is futile to cling rigidly to something we would ultimately let go. sad if its materialistic but hopeful if it is faith!. I love your poems Kamakhya! God bless

    • Thank you Grace , very nicely put by you.. Clinging on sadly to materialistic pursuits than faith ! May the shift in perception be towards the only permanent truth … towards the God realization ! Blessed times .. you too.

a summit of peace….lovely imagery. I hope that is what we all reach when we finish the mountainous climb of life!

    • Yes Jessi , the summit of peace is what the destination is all about ! And what better journey it could be if ” letting go”…realizing the impermanence nature of things, paves the way for that ! Thank you .Peace.Love.
